This is just a quick post to show you my latest cp soap using the Bramble Berry fragrance oil called Kentish Rain. Its a fresh, green fragrance with a few floral notes and base notes of sandalwood and tonka bean.
This recipe is palm free with olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa and shea butters, castor oil and a little sweet almond oil. I used green clay for the base colour and seafoam green mica for the layers.
The soap seems to have only gone through a partial gel. Oh we'll, never mind. I'm still happy. My husband likes it (He requested this one). He isn't big fan of textured tops, but he's ok with this one (or so he says lol).
I got to use my new toy to cut this baby! I bought myself a cheese slicer to cut my soaps. Now it is every Soapmaker's dream to own a multi-bar soap cutter. That's not gonna happen at my place. So I think this is the next best thing. Cost less than $20 :-).
